A quick update on the PSP

PSP Firmware v2.0 Update

Through the message boards you hear a lot of stuff but this seems to be valid. A U.S. player was d/l the PSP v2.0 for the Japanese version and received the message that the U.S. version will be released on August 12th. So take it for what it is. I'm going to wait like I said in the past podcast, no use in screwing up a $250 item if you don't have to.

Tired Thumbs - Episode #24

Fan Mail

A listener sent this into us. It's part of firmware 2.0 that was released today. One of the major things are that it will include a web browser. That's right a web browser for searching the web and yes you saw the cursor for it in the upper right hand corner. The US release is a couple of days away!

It's Adults Only in San Andreas

Well it didn't take time for the ESRB to slap Rockstar with an "Adult Only" rating on their latest opus Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

This came from items that revealed mini sex games within the program. Now as far as I know the games were hidden and had to be hacked in order to play them. Let's say that this is a historical event as Rockstar is the first to get this type of rating.

At the moment Rockstar is sending out "AO" stickers to cover up the "M" rated stickers until they can re-issue an edited version of the game this fall.

so if this suits you grab the PC copy and keep it to yourself lol.

Here's the full story.

    Tired Thumbs - Episode #16

This was originally published on the 8th of this month but there was a burp in iTunes or something like that.

This week we are looking at Wipeout Pure for the PSP, great game, we also have some new news on the PS3 and the XBOX 360, plus other great news. We also have a big bag of tricks in our gaminng tip of the week. The show this week is ten minutes almost to the "T" as we are trying out the new CastBlaster. We unfortunately don't have the music but the sound quality is next to none. Let us know what you think.
